2 Months, 28 Days

Not this yellow—promise! I have no idea why my back teeth keep coming up overly yellow and stained. Nevertheless,  I will definitely be getting some sort of whitening to finish off my perfect smile post-braces.

  1. Wow your teeth look amazing!!! Grats on not having an underbite anymore. I'm the opposite of you and I have an overbite, which is getting better everyday w/ these elastics! Check my blog out too: dswiz.blogspot.com

  2. Thank you, thanks! It feels really good.

Yeah, gosh I hate these elastics to death—I didn't know I was signing up for them when I signed up for braces—but they are pretty great, aren't they? They're working wonders.

  3. Yeah elastics work so fast! I felt my bite changing only after a couple days. Now I don't have to move my lower jaw back to bite down anymore. It's so fantastic! But man are these elastics rubbing the inside of my cheek RAW. I need to drink more water.

  4. I'm not sure why people tend to complain that the elastics rub at their mouths. I haven't ever experienced this.

Maybe mine aren't cheek-rubbingly strong? Or, perhaps class III elastics don't rub? I'm glad, whatever the case!

  5. Well mine didn't start rubbing until a month into the elastics. Weird. It only lasted a couple days. It's not really rubbing now though... oh well :) It's crazy, your teeth look like those "model" teeth that sit on the orthodontist's desk! How much longer do you have to wear your braces?

  6. What a compliment, thank you! I am very happy with how things are going.

The orthodontist said either 6 or 8 months, which is absolutely fantastic!

  7. Wow, I looked over your photos from beginning to end and it's amazing how great your smile looks!
It really gives me something to look forward with this treatment, and I'm glad to see the results from someone who used to have an underbite (used to have... yay!) looking forward to reading more, thanks :)

Used to have an underbite, I know! I can't believe it, but love it and I'm so happy about it!
